The 7th floor, named Arthall Mousses, is also designed
for exhibition services to a wider new technologies
and photography field.

The ancient Mousses Ourania, Erato and Clio have lent
their names to the 6th, 5th, and 4th floors, which have
been designed for the hosting of:
-  "avant garde" contemporary visual arts exhibitions
(6th floor).
-   Exhibitions of architecture, design, sculpture and
visual applications on building complexes (5th floor).
Representative and figurative art forms (4th floor).

In the same building Diana art gallery (2nd floor) with
its own administration has been operating for the last
years with success, as well as a gallery previously
named EPIKENTRO (1st floor) aiming at providing
services for the organization of exhibitions and
installation of art works on public spaces and museums.

Finally, the Art Shops & Services housed mainly on
part of the 5th floor and semi-floor present to art-loving
purchasing public, besides works of art, objects of
selected art and crafts, which, apart from their artistic
value, possess a quality of utility.  There will also be
various common media of visual decoration (silk-screen
printings, small and multiple art pieces) on display.
Simultaneously, art services are provided in different
cases (interior design, public art, appreciation and
conservation of art works etc.)

In the case of bigger events and in order to fulfill their
requirements successfully, the exhibitions can be
developed on more than one floor.

As we have entered the new millennium and the whole
world is in the process of laying down the foundations
of the new age of space, technology, cybermatics and
the organization of a new social structure and life style,
we think that in this process, art must be an active
participant.

Therefore, by accommodating all forms of contemporary
art of Greek as well as foreign artists, we contribute
greatly to culture, as well as to the educational activities
of an art school.  The goal is for every visitor to walk
out imbued with high feelings, intellectually uplifted,
with a desire to communicate its experience to other
people.

We believe that artists are now feeling the need to
escape conventional means of expression.  Live
presentations in sculpture and computer graphics in
photography show that a collapse of the boundaries
among the fine arts and a synthesis and expansion of
them has begun.  Our objective is to explore and expand
the interrelations of the evolving contemporary art and
life by promoting and exposing new ideas and
possibilities.

The burden of a far heavier responsibility is upon us
here in Greece, because of the great legacy which was
entrusted to us from a great historic past.  As a result,
we are open and willing to any kind of communication
and collaboration with artists, galleries, institutions, art
consultants and art schools.

The multi-story Artower Agora is located in the
Central Market of Athens – Varvakios Square, in the building Armodiou 10, opposite to the sacred rock of the Acropolis.  The area is known from the old days as one that attracts the highest number of visitors from all over Greece.  It is being constantly developed, displaying a great number of successful initiatives in the areas of art, music, theatre, folk art and culture in general.

In the early 70s, the building of Armodiou 10 housed
many and various cultural activities, most important
of them being that of the Centre for EEC Studies, which occupied ten out of twelve floors and where – in parallel with its educational activity – an exhibition of modern art and other cultural events on the 8th floor (it was tailored for that special purpose), while aiming at backing up Greece in its course towards the European integration.

At the present time, Artower Agora makes use mainly of eight floors for hosting its cultural activities, each one of them directly viewing the Acropolis rock and having its own style, even its own name, hoping in the near future to an autonomous administration and management, open to many forms of cooperation and participation.

Artower Agora, with a unique view from all its floors
of the Acropolis, but also of places of special beauty
in the city (Lykabettus hill, Faliron coast, etc.) has the
ambition as a center of modern art, to develop a visual dialectics with the surrounding buildings – symbols (Town Hall, Stock Exchange, Central Market), and moreover, to function and evolve, becoming aware of the magnitude of its responsibility towards art and culture, something that is imposed on it by its visual contact with the Acropolis.

With Intekkat S.A. as its organization art development consultant and with the contribution of Libro D'oro LTD art trading expertise and visual arts specialists, exhibitions and events of an artistic and cultural character are taking place throughout the year.

In specific:

On the 9th floor, named Art Roof, artistic events and
the atelier of the well-known artist Yioulia
Ghazetopoulou are hosted.

The 8th floor, named Auctions Hall is hosting
temporary events concerning a wide range of
installations, artistic performances, as well as
conferences, the promotion of cultural events and
products, and other cultural trading activities
surrounded by the artistic atmosphere which prevails
on the other floors as well.
